How to Factory Reset an iPhone or Samsung Before Selling

Navigate to Reset Settings Go back to the main Settings dashboard, tap General, and scroll down to select Transfer or Reset iPhone.

Galaxy Samsung Reset Path

Unlink Google & Samsung Accounts Open Settings, go to Accounts and Backup > Manage Accounts. Select your profiles and tap Remove Account to avoid future device locks.
Locate Factory Settings Return to the main Settings menu, tap General Management, and scroll down to select the Reset sub-option.
Execute Master System Wipe Choose Factory Data Reset, scroll to the base button, and tap Reset. Confirm with your security pattern or PIN code.
