Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about device quotes, UK postage, Merseyside collection and getting paid.

How does it work?
  1. Get your quote: Choose your device, then select its exact model, storage where applicable, and condition.
  2. Choose how to sell: Use our UK postal service or arrange local collection in Liverpool and Merseyside.
  3. Inspection and payment: We check that your device matches your selection. For postal orders, we pay the same day your device arrives. If its condition differs, we explain any revised offer before you decide whether to accept.
How do I find out how much my device is worth?

Visit our device catalogue and choose your exact model, storage capacity where applicable, and condition to see your current quote. We pay the quoted amount when the device matches those details and the correct condition has been selected. If you are unsure about a fault or cannot find your model, contact us before placing your order.

What areas do you cover?

Our postal service is available across the UK. We also offer local collection from homes and workplaces in Liverpool and Merseyside, including Wirral and St Helens. Collection appointments depend on availability; arrange a suitable time with us when booking.

Is the home collection service really free?

Yes. Our local collection service in Liverpool and Merseyside is free. We inspect your device to confirm its model and condition. If it matches the details selected for your quote, you receive the quoted amount. If anything differs, we explain any revised offer so you can decide whether to proceed.

How does the national mail-in service work?

Choose your device, select its condition and complete your order using the postal option. Follow the postage instructions supplied with your order, pack your device securely and keep your proof of postage. We inspect it on arrival and pay the same day it arrives. If the model or condition differs from your selection, we contact you with an explanation and a revised offer. If you decline that offer, we return your device free of charge.

What sort of devices can I sell?

We buy selected phones, tablets, MacBooks, smartwatches and games consoles. Available makes and models are listed in our device catalogue. You can browse phones, tablets and consoles directly. If your model is not listed, contact us to check whether we can offer a valuation.

Do you buy broken phones and tablets?

Yes, selected damaged or faulty devices may still have value. Choose the condition that accurately describes your device and disclose any faults when getting your quote. Acceptance and value depend on the model and the fault, so contact us if you are unsure which condition to select. Our condition guide explains what to check.

What happens to the personal data on my device?

Back up anything you want to keep before selling your device. Sign out of your accounts, remove activation locks and factory-reset the device before posting it or handing it over. Remove your SIM card and any removable memory card too. Do not rely on the sale process to back up your files or remove your personal information.

Do I need to remove my iCloud or Google account?

Yes. Sign out of your Apple, Google or Samsung account and remove activation locks, including Find My where applicable, before selling your device. A factory reset alone may leave an activation lock in place. If it is a company device, ask your IT team to remove any device-management restrictions. Contact us if you need help preparing it; never share your account password with us.

What payment methods do you offer?

We pay by bank transfer. For postal orders, we pay the same day your device arrives, provided it matches your selected model and condition. If a revised offer is needed, the sale must be agreed before payment. For local collections, the device is inspected and payment is arranged once the sale is agreed. Check that the bank details you supply are correct.

What if my device condition is different than expected?

We pay your quoted amount when the device matches the model, storage where applicable, and condition you selected. If inspection identifies a difference or an undisclosed fault, we explain it and provide a revised offer. You can decide whether to accept. If you decline a revised postal offer, return postage is free.

What should I do before sending or handing over my device?

Check your model and storage capacity, describe its condition accurately and note any faults. Back up your files, sign out of linked accounts, remove activation locks and factory-reset the device. Remove your SIM and memory cards. For postal orders, use protective packaging and follow the instructions supplied with your order. See our condition guide or ask us for help if you are unsure.

Do you accept stolen or blocked phones?

No. Only offer a device that you own or are authorised to sell. We do not accept devices reported lost or stolen, or devices that are blacklisted or blocked. If you are unsure about your device’s status, contact us before placing an order or posting it.

Is return postage free if I decline a revised offer?

Yes. If we offer a revised price after inspecting your postal order and you decline it, we return your device to you free of charge.
