🔍 Pro Inspection Tips

The Light Test

Turn off the display and wipe it clean. Hold the phone under a bright, direct light (like a desk lamp or window) and tilt it side-to-side. This reveals hidden micro-scratches that are invisible in flat lighting.

The Fingernail Test

Not sure if a scratch is "minor" or "deep"? Gently run your fingernail over the screen. If your nail catches in the groove of the scratch, it is a deep scratch (Poor Condition).

Battery Check

For iPhones, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health. If the maximum capacity says "Service" or is heavily degraded, it will affect the overall grade.
